So I was out of town celebrating my granddaughters first birthday. How much fun is that you ask? We had a great time and I took over 300 pictures but have decided not to post any with her face in them. Our daughter made all the decorations for the party and also the cake. She is a very talented woman, if I do say so myself. I contributed in  decorating the front yard ...

Day 10

So I struggled a bit with what my subject was going to be today and settled on an apple. Enjoy

So did you all notice the full moon this morning? Or at least I think it was full I can never tell. When I got up it was fairly high in the sky but by the time I got outside it was mostly behind the trees.

So I was encouraged today as someone told me that I had inspired them to get their camera out and use it again. That may have been the highlight of this whole adventure! Todays shot is of an ivy leaf...enjoy

Day 7

Has it really been a week? Guess so. The pic for the day was as the sun was peeking out. Maybe not the best sunrise but definitely a welcome sight with all the cloudiness of winter.

Days 4, 5 and 6

So really I didn't take a photo yesterday and I won't take one tomorrow due to it being Sunday so I took 3 somewhat similar pics today...

It is good when there is a bit more time than what I had yesterday. Today I got out a candle holder then took several pics with different backgrounds before I got something that I liked. Here you are hope you enjoy.

Well I have decided to make a New Years resolution a little late, sort of what you might expect from me. I am going to try to take a picture a day for the next 365 days. We shall see how it goes. This is todays photo. It is a butterfly sculpture that is part of a clock.

Now if I could just get the lives ones to stay that still!
